"Awesome to recognise Leah for her achievements over the last year or so, especially during lockdown. Her passion for coaching children is matched by her desire to learn and develop her own skills, whilst also impassioning fellow coaches and those around her. When we do eventually get back to normal, the kids and families at Bletchingley Golf Club will be blessed with one of the best young kids' coaches in the country!'

"Leah you are just the most amazing and inspiring coach and a genuinely lovely person.  Your patience is unbounded and your kindness to both my children marks you out as a special person who always has time for people.  I only wish I had had a coach like you when I was a kid and maybe I would have fallen in love with golf earlier.  Well deserved and a high benchmark for others to try and meet.

“Leah Roelich is a very personable young Lady who has provided me with golf tuition over recent years. She is very clear in her instruction, giving helpful teaching to myself, but also a range of my friends at Bletchingley Golf Club.

Leah has also taught 2 of my grandchildren, Cameron (aged 10) and Skye (aged 8) during School holidays. They have always thoroughly enjoyed spending days with Leah, being active, joining in group lessons, and learning all about the game of Golf.”

“Leah has been coaching our grandson Zachary for the last five years, since he was 5 years old. During this short period, his ability, confidence and enjoyment of golf has multiplied exponentially. Leah has managed to get the best out of Zac and I am sure that with Leah’s continued support he is destined to be a great golfer."

Kind regards

“I am a senior golfer, having played golf for many years. However over the past 10 years or so I have struggled with my game and started to fall out of love with golf and was on the verge of giving it up altogether.

I had had some golf lessons with other coaches but nothing worked to improve the quality of my play. On occasions at my local golf club I had seen Leah coaching and I thought I would reach out to her.

Leah’s approach to coaching was pleasantly different to anything I had experienced before. She listened intently to my golfing background and managed to identify some of the causes behind my inconsistent golf.

With the help of some technology Leah was able to provide some personalised changes to my technique which has been hugely beneficial. Leah was incredibly patient with me and took time to help me understand why things were going wrong for me and what changes were needed to get things back on track.

Some of the male coaches have not taken the time to really understand the underlying issues with my golf and I now feel more comfortable with my game and happy to play again. If I need further coaching I will trust Leah to help me with any further coaching needs!!

Many thanks for your help and guidance.”

“I have known Leah Roelich for a few years now and she is the one i turn too when my golf swing and shots go astray. I have had many lessons from Leah and i always try my best to follow her instruction on the golf course  hard to start with, but we get their in the end, she has a lovely way about her very calm and understanding that i am not as young as i used to be with a golf swing.

Listening to our other members at Bletchingley Golf course, they really appreciate the lesson in a group formation as i do with around 10 other members explaining the right way of playing the game of golf.

So i for one was  pleased to see her dedication for the game of golf appreciated by having a chance for the Nomination for the London & South East England Prestige Award.

“Leah conducts lessons in a professional yet engaging manner. She simplifies technical matters to layman’s language allowing me to comprehend what is needed. Leah has not tried to rebuild my swing, but has considerately tweaked where necessary.

My course management has benefited from some simple suggestions and alternative methods under Leah’s tutelage. I am extremely happy to be coached by Leah and will be regularly seeing her this year.”

Kind regards

"I was keen to get my daughter, Lily, into golf and wondered whether it was too early to start at the age of 4. But I found Leah through her website, which was so clear and informative and more than reassuring for someone who was unsure whether kids this young could learn. It was clear Leah had really thought about what parents wanted to know if they were going to send their children to Leah's sessions. You can see the thought that has gone into what works, and what doesn't work with kids - everything from the length of classes, to the size and variation at each lesson.

From a parent's perspective (customer), she never makes it feel like a business transaction. She has always made me feel like she is focused on making sure the level and environment was right for my daughter to feel comfortable at any one week's lesson, but also so that she can thrive in the long term.

Leah's enthusiasm and energy is always on show, whatever the weather! The kids all love her and she is so patient with them, ensuring that they are safe but above all enjoying the golf to help them fall in love with it for the long term. Leah keeps the kids engaged with fun, relevant games, using new technology and other props, all whilst making sure they follow some basic rules to stay safe too.

Lily had never played when she first started playing with Leah. She has now advanced up from the 4-6 year olds group to the 7-9 year olds and you can see the progress being made. I have no doubt, it's been due to Leah's great support and encouragement. She has really helped nurture her love for the game. As a parent, I am always grateful to Leah for all her efforts.

I have recommended the golf classes here at Bletchingley golf club to other parents, because it is led by Leah. I suspect there are a lot of kids who come across the lessons through word of mouth.”

Tommy Hyun - Parent of Lily Hyun

“Leah has been an absolutely fantastic golf coach for my daughter, Dorothy. From the very beginning she has created such a positive, welcoming and engaging environment that has really helped Dorothy develop both her confidence and enjoyment of the game.

Leah’s approach to coaching younger players is incredibly intuitive. She has a natural ability to explain techniques in a way that children understand, while keeping the sessions fun and interactive. Dorothy always comes away from her lessons excited, confident & keen to explain the activities.

What stands out most is how Leah balances skill development with games. The activities and exercises she runs are engaging and thoughtfully designed, helping young players build the fundamentals of golf without it ever feeling pressured or overly technical. This has made a huge difference in keeping Dorothy enthusiastic about the sport.

It’s clear that Leah genuinely cares about developing young golfers and building their confidence in safe space. We feel very lucky that Dorothy has the opportunity to learn from such a positive and encouraging coach, and we would highly recommend Leah any parents looking to introduce their children to golf in a fun, supportive and professional environment.”

Keep up the great job Pea Wea 👍

“My daughter has worked with Leah as her golf coach since she first started, aged 2/3 in the Pea Wea groups.

6 years later, aged 9, my daughter’s love of the game, and ability has grown. Leah didn’t just teach her to swing a club, but also helped build her confidence, her discipline, and her love for the game.

My daughter has had other coaches in both golf and other sports but her connection that she has built with Leah is second to none. What sets her apart is the way she teaches: calm, patient, and observant, but also bringing a huge amount of fun and creativity to her lessons, both group and individual. Leah gets my daughter, she understands how to get the best from her and she truly gets on her level. More than that, Leah celebrates her progress, supports her through setbacks, and treats her development with the same care and pride as if she were her own.

I myself have sought Leah’s support as a father trying to not be overbearing on the course and she has always taken time to ensure my daughter is getting the best from me as dad and not coach. The growth she’s achieved under Leah’s coaching has been lovely to see, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most dedicated and impactful junior coaches I’ve seen.

I’ve coached kids, I was a former teacher and know how much it gives and takes to be so impactful, valued and loved by those you have in your tutelage and I can say without hesitation Leah is probably the best at what she does. She deserves all the recognition that she gets.”

Aaron Morris - Parent of Isla Morris

"I had the pleasure of working alongside Leah during Project 250, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. As a coach herself, Leah brings a great level of knowledge, professionalism, and passion to everything she does. What really stood out was her commitment to helping players improve, not just technically but also in how they think about and approach their game.

Throughout the project she consistently created a positive and supportive environment for the players while still challenging them to get the most out of themselves. Her communication is clear, thoughtful, and always focused on what will genuinely help someone develop. It was great to collaborate with a coach who cares so much about the process and the people she works with.

Leah’s attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to connect with players make her a fantastic coach to work with. Anyone who has the opportunity to learn from or work with her will benefit from her experience and dedication. I really enjoyed being part of the journey together on Project 250 and hope to work together again in the future."
